This data visualisation movie was an early concept developed to show how it would be possible to visualise and predict user behaviour. Like a swarm of birds, the dot matrix moves as opportunities appear, while the colours signify the types of actionable opportunity that would be offered at the touchpoint.

 

Brief

A brand-up project of an existing company . The new branding needed to appeal to both medium size companies as well as the critical Data scientist community. The name change was to deliver new insights, new propositions and a new narrative.

Approach

The Creative Strategy proposed a new brand name and narrative for the data start-up. Core to the narrative is that being ‘one second before’ the customer through predictive data analysis. This is a not only an actionable opportunity, it’s a real-time competitive advantage.

New Standard

Customers want relevant and personalised seamless interactions delivered exactly when they want it. Business needs to increase customer interactions to stay competitive. Onesecondbefore creates a new narrative in the rush to understand customer data.

Project process

Step 1 - Creative Strategy
A Brand-up is a the creation of a new brand name of an existing company. The client already had a company called Number Associates. A series of interviews with the owners gathered with existing data and presentations all the information to develop the strategic narrative.
Step 2 - Brand Narrative
The Creative Strategy was presented through a Thoughtstarter that defined the brand name , the narrative and a brand new visual identity - Onesecondbefore.
Step 3 - Brand Governance
The brand narrative “Onesecondbefore’ was implemented into a new website, marketing collateral, socials and the UI for the developers platform.
